PRIVACY POLICY

JUVIO Corporation (hereafter “JUVIO”) is dedicated to establishing a trusting relationship with its customers, based on respect for personal identity and information, by promoting the use of fair information practices. This Privacy Policy (hereafter “Policy”) is inclusive of all JUVIO owned and operated websites (hereafter the “Site). Because JUVIO wants to demonstrate its commitment to our users' privacy, we are disclosing:

  1. What personally identifiable information JUVIO collects.
  2. How JUVIO uses the information.
  3. With whom JUVIO may share user information.
  4. What choices are available to users regarding collection, use and distribution of the information.
  5. What types of security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under JUVIO control.
  6. How users can correct any inaccuracies in the information. If users have questions or concerns regarding this statement, they should contact JUVIO Customer Support preferably by email at support@juvio.com or by telephone at USA number (480) 315-8846.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Information Collection
JUVIO is the sole owner of the information collected on the Site. JUVIO collects information from its users at several different points on our Site. Because many of the visitors to this site in the future may be children, we take care that our content is suitable for children. We take special measures to help children protect their privacy while on-line or while contacting our customer support center. For example, we do not ask children to disclose more personal information than is necessary for them to participate in an activity or access computer technical support, and we take efforts to prevent children from posting any contact information. See the specific section of our privacy policy devoted to children – Children's Privacy Policy.

Registration
In order to become a customer of JUVIO, a user must first complete the registration process. During registration a user is required to provide truthful and accurate contact information (such as name, email address, telephone number, home address, etc.), a unique identifier, and financial information (such as credit card information, billing address, etc.). We use this information to contact the user about products and/or services on our Site for which the user has expressed interest and to provide those products and/or services and bill user for the products and/or services requested.

Profile
We store information that we collect through user-inputted data, cookies, log files and third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users detailing their relationship with JUVIO. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user's personally identifiable information to improve and make more efficient the user’s access and use of the Site. This profile is used to tailor a user's visit to our Site, and to potentially direct pertinent marketing promotions and services to them. We do not share personally identifiable elements of your profile with any other third parties absent your express consent.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. By setting a cookie on our site, we are able to automate certain features and/or better provide information commonly accessed by a user, thus improving the user’s interaction with the Site. If users reject the cookie, they may still use our Site. The only drawback to this is that the user might be limited in some areas of our Site. Persistent cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Site. See the "Profile" section, above.

Log Files
Like most Web sites, our servers use log files to analyze trends, administer the Site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, time/date stamps of access, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Clear Gifs
Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. The main difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Clear gifs are not tied to users' personally identifiable information. We may also use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails the recipients have opened. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and to document downline use of marketing services, news and other information from JUVIO.

JUVIO does not rent or sell Customer information, including information provided by children, to outside marketers or those not associated with JUVIO under protection of legal agreement. In certain circumstances, JUVIO may use trusted agents or independent contractors to help us provide operational or support services to our customers, such as, but not limited to, helping us conduct a program, monitor website efficiency or sending prizes or material to customers. In these cases, we contractually require the agent or contractor to keep the information confidential in strict compliance with our Policy and to use it only for the specific services they are authorized to perform.

Business Transitions
In the event JUVIO goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, our Customers’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Customers will be notified prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. Choice/Opt-out
Customers are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' from having their information used for purposes not directly related to our Site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our registration forms may have an 'opt-in' mechanism if we implement a program asking you for consent to receive promotions according to your particular interests. Customers must proactively choose to receive these promotions. Customers of our Site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties not associated with JUVIO under protection of legal agreement. We do this so our Customers may make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party.

Links
This Site may contain links to other web sites. Please be aware that JUVIO is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites not owned, controlled by, or operated by JUVIO. We encourage our Customers to be aware when they leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Statement applies solely to information collected by JUVIO. JUVIO may enter into advertising and affiliate relationships with third party web sites that drive interested parties to our Site. Information that is collected on these third party sites are not controlled by this Policy, and Customers are advised to read the separate privacy policies of these web sites.

Periodically, our Site might request information from Customers via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and Customers have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and address), and demographic information (such as Postal Codes). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of JUVIO services. Customers’ personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties not associated with JUVIO under protection of legal agreement unless we give prior notice and a choice to opt-out. Though we may use an intermediary to conduct these surveys, they may not use Customers personally identifiable information for any purpose outside the accepted realm of conducting JUVIO business.

Children’s Privacy Policy
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). Our goal is to provide a safe and valuable web site, which if visited by children, and technical support services, which if used by children - may be used safely and securely in compliance with all laws. This section of the privacy policy addresses JUVIO general policy regarding the following:

  • Collection of children's personal information
  • Use of children's personal information
  • The method of obtaining parental consent
  • The method of obtaining access to the child's information

Information from children

  • JUVIO may collect, online, via the telephone, or by other acceptable means, contact information from children under the age of 13 in order to respond to a support request from a child. Contact information that is collected, other than that necessary to verify the Customer’s account and document the support request, will be deleted after a response is made to the child.

  • In addition to support requests, JUVIO may collect online contact information from children under the age of 13 in order to respond to a specific request from a child or to protect the safety of the child. For example, JUVIO may collect online or telephonic contact information to allow a child to sign up for an online newsletter or receive information about a JUVIO feature or program. Concurrent with collecting the contact information, the child will be required to provide either a parent's or guardian's e-mail address and/or a parent's or guardian's street address so that JUVIO may send the child's parent or guardian a notice regarding JUVIO’s children online information practices and notice of the request made by the child. The notice will also allow a child’s parent/guardian to revoke or prevent similar future requests by the child. JUVIO will not condition a child's participation in an activity on the provision of more information than is reasonably necessary for the activity.

Parent or Guardian Consent
JUVIO will employ reasonable efforts to obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting information from a child. Parental or guardian consent may be obtained by some or all of the following methods:

  1. By submitting a signed consent form to JUVIO;
  2. By calling a toll-free and having the verbal consent recorded;
  3. By submitting a credit card number and associated billing information; or
  4. By submitting an e-mail message.

The method of parental consent will vary, in JUVIO’s sole discretion, depending upon the specific JUVIO feature, program or service. Additional consent mechanisms may be used in the future. Whenever parental consent is obtained, the parent or guardian may be asked to choose or be given an identification code so that JUVIO may identify and authenticate future requests from that parent or guardian.

Child-provided information review
by their child by sending a verifiable e-mail message to support@juvio.com. For verification and security purposes, JUVIO may request that such parental or guardian requests contain the parent's or guardian's name and identification code as well as a valid e-mail address, a physical address, and/or a phone number. Parents or guardians may also request that JUVIO delete or change their child's information. If such a request is received, JUVIO will make all reasonable efforts to timely delete or change the information from its files.

Security
JUVIO takes precaution to protect its Customers’ information. When Customers submit sensitive information via the Site, their information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order forms ask Customers to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number, billing information, etc.), that information is encrypted and is protected using industry standard encryption software (128 bit secure socket layers protocols). While we use SSL encryption protocols to protect sensitive information online, we also employ security measures to protect Customer information off-line. All of our Customer information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific task are granted access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment.

Supplementation of Information
In order for JUVIO to properly fulfill its obligations to Customers it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from 3rd party sources. JUVIO may verify the billing address on all credit card transactions and may obtain credit reports for some customers. The information obtained from these third party sources is maintained in a manner consistent with JUVIO's Privacy Policy.

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a Customer’s personally identifiable information changes (such as Postal Code, telephone number, email or physical address), or if a Customer no longer desires our products and/or services, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate a Customers’ personally identifiable information. The easiest method is for Customers to login in to their account and then access the profile page to change any personal information, or they may contact us by email at support@juvio.com.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our Policy, we will post those changes in this Policy, and other places we deem appropriate, so our Customers are afforded an awareness of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected. If, however, we are going to use Customers’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify Customers via email. Customers will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. However, if the Customer opts out of all communication with the Site, or deletes/deactivates their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect Customer information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our Site notifying Customers of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email Customers, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
